Of all the large group holiday locations in Sydney, Hamilton Island is my hands-down favourite. Not only does it have beautiful beaches and stunning views, but it’s also large enough to accommodate my large group of family and friends. 

Plus, there’s plenty to do on the island, from exploring the hikes to spending lazy days lounging by the pool. And if you’re looking for a more adventurous large-group holiday, you can even go diving or snorkelling.

7. Byron Bay

It’s that time of year again when everyone is looking for the perfect large-group holiday location near Sydney. And while there are plenty of great choices out there, I always come back to Byron Bay

There’s just something about this place that makes it ideal for a long weekend away with family and friends. The beaches are beautiful, the vibe is relaxed, and there’s always something going on. Plus, it’s just a short drive from Sydney, and you can make the most of your time away.
