Yeah, it is that time of the year when Melburnians come together and organize all kinds of Christmas events in and around Sydney.

Christmas in Sydney is all about everyone coming together, joining in the festivities and spreading the message of peace on Earth and good will to all men (and women).

Boho Luxe Christmas Market 2019 – The Atrium at Federation Square

Then you should definitely check out this Christmas market. There’ll be music, food and a whole host of stalls for you to browse skincare products, art and gift items to choose from.

There will also be stalls focusing on ethical and vegan ware.

Date: Sunday, December 1st, 2019 from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon (10am to 4pm).

Venue: The Atrium at Federation Square. Swanston St, Sydney VIC 3000, Australia.

Entry: Free.

How to get there: Federation Square falls within Sydney’s Free Tram Zone. They also have car and bicycle parking facilities.

Carols by Candlelight, Sydney 2019 – Sidney Myer Music Bowl

Prepare to lose yourself in a lilting atmosphere of song as Christmas carols are sung on Christmas Eve.

Carols by Candlelight is an Australian institution that began in 1938 and has no spread across the world.

And you know what the best part is? The event will raise funds for Vision Australia’s children’s services.

So, if you want to take part in the Christmas spirit of giving, while listening to traditional Christmas carols, turn up at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on December 24th.

Date: Tuesday, December 24th, 2019 from 4pm to 11pm.

Venue: Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Kings Domain Gardens, Linlithgow Ave, Sydney VIC 3000, Australia.

Entry: Tickets need to be purchased beforehand.

How to get there: Flinders Street train station is within walking distance. The Arts Precinct (stop number 14) tram stop is also nearby. And if you’re driving, you can park at the Arts Centre Sydney car park.

14th Annual Christmas Day BYO Picnic Lunch – Queen Victoria Gardens

Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights – Frankston Art Centre, Frankston Library and so on

And what would Christmas be without the lighting up of a Christmas tree?

Join hundreds of Melburnians for the official lighting of the Christmas Tree at Frankston.

  • Be there for Santa’s Arrival Parade.
  • Enjoy a Christmas music and carols concert.
  • Enjoy food, rides, and other kinds of activities like meeting the Minions.

It’ll all be happening at the Frankston Festival of Lights.

Docklands Christmas Twilight Market – Newquay Promenade

Get a chance to

Revel in the festivities, lose yourself in the merriment and take a break from the drudgery of daily life at the Docklands Christmas Twilight Market.
