Kids start with 30 minutes of Mixed Reality, then take on Floor is Lava and Hammer Throwing, with two complimentary bottles of water each to keep them going. That is about an hour of activities. Allow up to 90 minutes for your visit, including check-in and resets between games.

What is Mixed Reality? See what the kids will do

Mixed Reality is our brand new mini-game experience. Your kids wear a VR headset that tracks their hands, so they play using just their hands.

They will be popping balloons, grabbing fish and slapping Martians, a bit like whack-a-mole, while moving around the room together. It runs for about 30 minutes.

Three games included

Mixed Reality

Wear a headset that tracks your hands, then pop balloons, grab fish and slap Martians, a bit like whack-a-mole. 30 minutes of non-stop play.

Floor is Lava

Dodge, dash and hop to safety. A giggly game that tests quick reflexes and quick thinking.

Hammer Throwing

Take aim, throw and hit the target. Great for hand-eye coordination.

Two free bottled waters included

Two bottles per voucher to keep them going between games.

How to book with your Active and Creative Kids voucher

Booking is quick and simple. Send us a date and time, with a second choice if you have one, and we will confirm by email.

    Get your voucher

    Grab your voucher in your Service NSW account if you have not already. You can check your child’s eligibility on the Service NSW site.

    Send your request

    Tell us the venue, how many players, your preferred date and time, and each child’s voucher number from the Service NSW app.

  3. 3

    We confirm by email

    We check availability and email you to confirm. No voucher numbers yet? Just reply to that email with them so we can apply them to your booking.

    Arrive and play

    Your vouchers are already applied to your booking, so the kids can get straight into the games.

Do not let it expire. Voucher 1 for 2026 can be used until 31 December 2026, and Voucher 2 until 14 July 2027.

Birthday parties in Sydney and Burwood

Give your child a birthday they will talk about for weeks. Your group gets a private session, so it is just your kids and their friends, never mixed with strangers.

What can I use my Active and Creative Kids voucher for in Sydney and Burwood?

At Entermission Sydney CBD and Burwood, use it toward the Active Kids Pack: 30 minutes of Mixed Reality, Floor is Lava and Hammer Throwing, plus two free bottled waters. The pack is $50 per player, the value of one voucher.

How far ahead should I book?

We strongly recommend at least 48 hours in advance. Sessions depend on availability, so requests made on the day may not be possible.

Is my session confirmed straight away?

No. The form is a booking request. We check availability and confirm by email. Please give a second choice of date and time in case your first choice is not available.

Do I need to pay to hold my booking?

Yes. We can only hold a session once it has been paid for, and your Active and Creative Kids voucher is that payment. We redeem the voucher when we confirm your booking. Once a voucher has been redeemed, Service NSW does not allow it to be refunded or reissued, so the booking becomes non-refundable. If your plans change, contact us at least 48 hours before your session and we can reschedule it to another date.

Do I need to give my voucher number before booking?

Yes. We need each child’s voucher number to confirm the booking. You can enter it in the booking form, or reply to our booking email with it. We apply it before your session, so there is no surprise payment on the day.

Can I use my voucher for a different child?

No. A voucher can only be used for the child named on it. If someone else is taking your child, you can share the voucher with them in the Service NSW app.

Can I use two vouchers together?

Each child can receive two $50 vouchers a year, and the current vouchers can be used together for a total of $100. Each voucher can only be used once. Contact us to plan a visit that uses both.

Can I use an Active and Creative Kids voucher for a birthday party?

Parents can share their child’s voucher with the person organising the visit through the Service NSW app. Each voucher can only be used for the child named on it, and that child needs to take part. Contact us and we will help you plan the party.

Can I use the voucher at Entermission Melbourne?

No. Active and Creative Kids is a NSW Government program, so vouchers are only available at our NSW venues in Sydney CBD and Burwood.

When do the vouchers expire?

Voucher 1 for 2026 must be used by 31 December 2026. Voucher 2 for 2026 is available from 15 July and must be used by 14 July 2027.
