Entermission Participant Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Your safety is important to us. This waiver is intended to ensure you understand the nature of our activities and your responsibilities while participating.

Important: Participants under 18 years of age must have this waiver completed by their parent or legal guardian before participating.

By ticking the checkbox and submitting this waiver electronically, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following:

• I agree to follow all safety information, instructions, and directions provided by Entermission before and during my participation.
• I understand that Entermission offers a range of virtual reality and physical activities, including but not limited to Virtual Reality Escape Rooms, Virtual Reality Challenge Rooms, Floor is Lava, Hammer Throwing, and other activities that may be introduced from time to time.
• I understand that, as with many recreational activities, participation in Entermission’s experiences involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated. While Entermission takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and clear safety instructions, I acknowledge that accidents or unforeseen incidents may occur and could result in injury.
• I confirm that I am physically and medically fit to participate. If I have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, heart condition, epilepsy, a seizure disorder, balance disorder, or any other condition that may affect my ability to participate safely, I accept responsibility for determining whether participation is appropriate and will seek medical advice where necessary.
• I agree to immediately stop participating and notify a staff member if I feel unwell, dizzy, uncomfortable, or unable to continue safely.
  I understand that Entermission may suspend or end my participation without refund if I fail to follow safety instructions, behave recklessly, misuse equipment, or place myself, other participants, staff, or property at risk.
• I accept responsibility for any deliberate, reckless, or negligent damage that I cause to Entermission’s equipment or facilities during my visit.
• To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participating in Entermission’s activities and release Entermission, its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from liability for injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from the ordinary risks of participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
• I understand that Entermission may take photographs and video recordings during my visit. Unless I advise staff before my session that I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I consent to Entermission using these images or recordings for promotional, marketing, website, social media, and other business purposes without compensation.
• I understand that any photographs or videos provided to participants are complimentary. While Entermission endeavours to capture and provide photographs or videos where practical, this cannot be guaranteed due to operational requirements, staffing levels, technical issues, or the nature of the activities. Complimentary media does not form part of the purchased experience and has no cash value.
  I understand that Entermission may contact me regarding my booking and, where permitted by law, may send occasional promotional communications. I understand that I may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
• I confirm that the information I have provided is true and accurate. If I am completing this waiver on behalf of a participant under 18 years of age, I confirm that I am their parent or legal guardian and have the authority to provide this consent.
